With 1 and 3 Wimberley students experiencing food insecurities over the summer, providing HOT, well-balanced meals has never been more important.
Help us ensure that all children have access to food this summer by sponsoring two hot meals and two snacks for a child this summer.

The average child loses 2.6 months of academic skills a month and spends 7.4 hours alone each summer. Now more than ever, our kids NEED camp. Help provide camp to a child by sponsoring a day of camp. Your support gives a child:

SAFETY: 9 Hours of supervision and engagement
BASIC NEEDS MET: 2 hot, balanced meals + 2 snacks
CHANCE: 3 hours of academics in ELA, Math, STEM, and Art, + 70 minutes of physical activity
HOPE: for their future by learning new skills and through exposure to new activities and careers
CONNECTION: the chance to connect with peers + others in their community

This year, partnering with WISD has opened so many doors for us to serve more kids- but, it also comes with a few extra costs. For each week of camp, we’re contracting WISD custodian staff to help keep the integrity of the space so our teachers can focus on what matters- our kids.

A teacher’s impact is priceless— it’s also something we learned can not be compromised. Unlike other camps, we use certified teachers that we contract from Wimberley ISD. These teachers work with our campers from August through May and know not just classroom basics, but how to meaningfully interact with students. What better way to fill the gap, than by equipping them with the gems who know them best?
